Celino And Barnes Break Up
NY Post – The famed “Cellino & Barnes” jingle may soon be a thing of the past. Ross Cellino Jr. filed a lawsuit against his longtime partner, Stephen Barnes, in State Supreme court Wednesday to dissolve the firm, according to media reports. It wasn’t immediately clear what claims Cellino cites in his lawsuit, according to Buffalo station WGRZ-TV. Barnes is scheduled to respond to the suit on May 19 and show why the firm shouldn’t be dissolved, the records show. Several documents, including Cellino’s petition, remain sealed by the court. Terry Conners, the attorney representing Cellino, declined to comment to station WIVB Wednesday night. The injury law firm — which urges victims “Don’t Wait, Call 8” in advertisements — has law offices across the New York metro area, as well as in Buffalo, Rochester, Los Angeles, Oakland and San Diego.
Brad and Angelina. Bieber and Selena. They all pale in comparison to Celino and Barnes. This is THE biggest celebrity break up I’ve ever seen. And its not just some sort of mutual, amicable split. Celino is SUING Barnes! How does that even work? Celino decides hes gonna sue so he picks up the phone and calls 800 888 8888 and Barnes answers? “Hey Barnes its me, Celino. I’m suing you.” Cold blooded shit, man.
Lord knows how much money they have won over the years in all the personal injury lawsuits. Its gotta be tens of thousands of dollars. But obviously their greatest contribution to the world is their jingle. I feel like if Celino wants to have any continued success he’s just gotta go find another lawyer named Barnes. Stephen Barnes, out. Frank Barnes, in. Doesnt matter what your other legal qualifications are, as long as you’re named Barnes we are good to go. You cant change those names and you cant change that number. Thats more important than any fake-lawyer diploma they have on the wall at their office.
PS – Jacoby And Meyers was till forever the gold standard for sheister lawyers completely built upon bad commercials. Celino and Barnes came along with the jingle and took over the game, but Jacoby and Meyers were the OGs until they kicked the bucket.
